MEET HENRY
A single dad who spent years doing what he thought society expected, good job, hard work, sacrificed family time. Heād loved real estate since playing Monopoly as a kid, fully renovated his own home in 2015, worked as a Winemaker then retrained as a Financial Planner before realising that path had limited growth and even less enjoyment. In 2024 he went all in on flipping full time. His kids, and wanting to actually enjoy his life, are his why.
Henry followed my journey for around a year before joining redmaneproperty, convinced our approach to renovating was aligned.
DEAL
This deal came through his trusted buyers agent. It was an appalling mess. The property was mid re-stumping without council approval, so Henry made getting it signed off a condition of sale. By settlement, the mess had gotten worse, asbestos cladding, broken sheeting everywhere.
He found the house had been illegally connected straight to the street power, bypassing the meter, and the roof solar panels were rigged live with car jumper leads. Both got sorted safely. In winter, sodden ground led him to a leaking neighbourās water tank as well as poor roof drainage, both fixed. Definitely a learning experience.
WHATāS NEXT
Heās already put a deposit on a 2 bedroom Adelaide unit in a blue chip complex, aiming to move fast and sharpen his project management.
$169,615 profit. From one of the messiest properties heās ever taken on.
The deals are there. The profit is real. And once you back yourself, everything changes.
Incredible work Henry. š
