Woolworths Hammond Park is now open!

A huge thank you to the Hoskins team for delivering a first-class shopping centre for the Hammond Park community, designed by architects Hames Sharley and to Woolworths for bringing much-needed everyday convenience to the area.

It was great to have The Honourable David Scaife MLA, Mayor Logan Howlett and Daniel Simms, CEO of the City of Cockburn join us to mark this important milestone for the growing community.

A big thank you also to the Aigle Royal Group project team; for their role in managing and overseeing the development.

And this is just the beginning. We look forward to welcoming our future tenants over the coming months and seeing Hammond Park continue to grow.

Congratulations to everyone involved - a fantastic result for the community.

Southern River Square was buzzing on Saturday, 13 June 2026, as KFC officially celebrated the grand opening of its newest Southern River restaurant!

Local MP Terry Healy and Councillors Balli Singh and Malik Sajjad joined Aigle Royal Group CEO Brad Brashaw and Project Officer Josh Poli for the opening day celebrations.

Families and locals enjoyed a fun-filled day with a visit from the iconic Colonel and giveaways.

As part of the Aigle Royal Group development, the new KFC brings even more dining options and local employment opportunities to Southern River Square Shopping Centre. A huge thank you to to Pitts Design and Construction for another great project delivered.

Things are moving at Hammond Park Shopping Centre and our regular site visits are showing great progress every week.

- External painting has commenced
- Water and gas are now connected to tenancies
- Acoustic walls have been constructed

Behind every milestone is a huge team effort. From coordinating trades and managing material deliveries to working around weather and tight construction schedules, bringing a retail centre to life is no small task. A big thank you to the contractors, consultants and project team whose commitment and hard work continue to drive this project forward.

The biggest milestone yet has just been completed at Hammond Park Shopping Centre. The ENTIRE roof is on!

Safe to say it’s no longer just steel and scaffolding… our newest neighbourhood shopping centre is really starting to look like one.

Upcoming works to keep an eye out for - external painting and internal floor tiling are set to commence over the next couple of weeks.

We’re pleased to share construction progress on our newest tenant, KFC, coming soon to Southern River Square Shopping Centre

Drive-through construction is now underway, with external cladding nearing completion and painting commencing shortly. Practical completion is on track, with opening anticipated in approximately five weeks.

This leasing further strengthens the convenience and quick-service offering at Southern River Square, delivering another high-demand national brand to the local community.

We look forward to welcoming KFC to the centre and sharing more updates as we move closer to opening.

Site visit for 2026 = big progress!

Things are really taking shape, with multiple trades on site every day!

We’ve ticked off some major milestones already, including the mezzanine slab and stairs, in-roof fire protection and continued roof and façade works on Woolworths.

Behind the scenes, in-ground drainage for fridge and cooling systems are well underway too.

Up next BWS lower roof works, kicking off soon.

Before we all put the tools down for the festive break, works at Hammond Park Shopping Centre have continued to progress week on week as the construction team head into a well-earned break.

Construction of the Woolworths roof is ongoing, with the back-of-house loading dock slab now poured and looking great.

The mezzanine level is underway, with the double-storey area now accessible (for trades only, of course!).

Thank you to everyone involved in the Hammond Park journey to date. Wishing all teams a well deserved break.

We look forward to sharing further site progress in 2026.

Teamwork makes the dream work!

Plenty of hard work has been happening among some hot days on site at Hammond Park Shopping Centre. The structure is really taking shape, with road drainage works now complete and ongoing steel installation progressing well.

Construction is also underway on the Woolworths car park, which will deliver 370 customer parking spaces when finished. Exciting progress all around!

A lot of exciting progress on site this past week at Hammond Park Shopping Centre.

This section will be home to Woolworths in 2026 and steel installation has now commenced on the roof.

The team has a big few weeks ahead and we’re looking forward to sharing the next milestones, including the bulk earthworks for the car park, commencement of the lift shaft and the mezzanine.

Construction Update | Hammond Park Shopping Centre

Great progress is being made on-site at Hammond Park Shopping Centre!

The concrete panels have now been erected and steel installtion is underway in preparation for the roof construction.
