This is how you make your kitchen stand out without overdoing it.

At the bottom you have your standard cabinet doors as the base. Up top these clients upgraded to a textured finish on the overhead cupboards and the contrast between the two is exactly what makes it work.

Congrats Danijel on starting your building journey!

This legend secured a block in the most recent release out in Bellevue, which worked perfectly for his location preferences with close proximity to work and family. After touching base with a few builders, he heard through a workmate about their building experience with Mr E and decided it was worth reaching out directly to see what we could offer.

From the very first meeting, after going through the designs, the process, and how we support our clients every step of the way, Danijel knew we were the right fit. A few catchups and a few tweaks to the Snatched Scullery design later, and the rest is history.

We are back in this client's farmhouse design today and the scullery is the star of the show. These clients basically turned it into a second kitchen and honestly we are completely here for it. Double sink, overhead cupboards, dishwasher recess, and a second fridge recess.

If you're about to go to prestart, take notes.

These clients went warm timber overheads against white lowers and it just works. The contrast is subtle enough to feel intentional without trying too hard. White tile splashback, stainless appliances, and the whole kitchen ties together like it was always meant to look that way.

You do not see this finish very often and that is exactly what makes it special.

Most people go black, chrome, or brushed nickel for their tapware. These clients went brass and the difference it makes to the warmth and feel of the space is hard to miss. What makes it work so well is that they carried it consistently throughout, every fixture, every fitting, all tied together.

If you are looking for something a little different at prestart this one is worth considering. It is an upgrade so it is a little bit more costly, but honestly, worth it.

Congrats Oleg and Tatiana on starting your building journey!

These legends are family friends of Julia, who she grew up with, so when the time came to build their first family home, they knew exactly who to call. After sitting down with the team, we helped them secure a block in Alkimos, close to schools, the train station, the beach, and easy for both work and the kids. That location ticked every box.

From there, we worked through multiple design concepts to find a layout that would suit their growing teenage kids and their love of entertaining. They landed on the Aspen design as a strong base and then Nik got to work customising and tweaking it to suit their preferences. Once that was locked in, the rest came together quickly and now we are on our way to building their first home.

Tight block, smart layout, and nothing left out. Sound good? Keep reading.

This one sits on a 12.5m block and honestly you would not know it from the inside. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a theatre that doubles as an office, large open plan living and dining, and an alfresco with a fibre cement ceiling.

The master is at the front with a walk-in robe and ensuite, there's a dedicated pantry and drop zone off the kitchen, and the whole layout just flows in a way that makes sense.

And because the design is compact enough for the block, these clients are walking away with over 8 metres of backyard to do whatever they want with.

Congrats Kane and Larnee on starting your building journey!

These legends came to Nik after purchasing a block south of the river that is just shy of 900m2. With a block that size, there was a lot to work with. We customised one of our four-car garage designs to suit the odd-shaped block while still retaining a large side access drive-through section. The living and dining area was also repositioned to flow towards the part of the yard where there is the most open space, maximising the future landscaping and pool options.
