Having been involved in most aspects of the Real Estate Industry since 1986 including 5 years as CEO of the Roy Weston Group, I have had the opportunity to experience its many challenges and rewards as well as to continually consider ways to revolutionise the sometimes long standing methodologies and approaches. In a nutshell, it became increasingly obvious to me that, for much of the day to day a
ctivities that happen in a real estate office, there had to be a better way. We also believe in promoting our individual sales associates with the understanding that it is them who provide the face to face services and interactions with our clients. My purchase of the Western Australian rights to the RE/MAX brand has brought together our long standing and successful local brand with all of its local knowledge and experience, with the most successful and powerful real estate force in the world – RE/MAX. RE/MAX operates in over 70 countries with more than 100,000 agents outselling its nearest competitor by 3 to 1. Our company today is the culmination of 20 years of successfully challenging the boundaries of our wonderful Industry to construct a powerful but easily understood and simple to adopt set of systems and procedures for real estate salespeople and agents, new and experienced, so that our clients are the winners in every regard. The RE/MAX system is unique in that it empowers individual sales associates to form their own businesses under our brand and in so doing, empowers them to better represent their clients. Having had the privilege from 2001 till 2005, to run Roy Weston, then Western Australia’s only locally owned franchise group of 50 offices, I have a deep appreciation of the value Western Australians hold in supporting local companies. It is our focus to ensure that we provide a level of service equal to the World’s best but at the same time never to lose sight of our Western Australian heritage. While we now have the ability to ensure National and International exposure for our clients we are very much a Western Australian owned and managed company here to serve Western Australians.
