The requirement to commence construction has been extended to 18 months from the date of the contract.
The final date for laying foundations for detached homes has been extended to 30 April 2023.
The final date for applying for a grant for a new detached home and uploading supporting documents has been extended to 30 April 2023.

☝Building a new detached home

Construction must now commence within 18 months of signing the contract.

You must lay your foundations and apply for the grant no later than 30 April 2023. You can upload supporting documents at any time after you have lodged your application, but you must provide all supporting documents by 30 April 2023.

You will be paid the grant after your foundations have been laid and all required supporting documents have been provided to us.

☝Purchasing off-the-plan in a single-tier development

Construction must now commence within 18 months of signing the contract.

Apply at any time. You can upload supporting documents after you have lodged your application.
