People don't follow you because you post the latest interest rate changes - They can get that anywhere.
They follow you because they're trying to figure out if they trust you enough to hand over the biggest financial decision of their lives.
And trust doesn't come from being the most "educational." It comes from being the most *real*.
I've been on both sides of this, as an agent, as a BDM, and now helping agents build their presence online. And I can tell you, the ones who win aren't the ones just posting market reports. They're the ones showing up as actual humans.
Share the behind-the-scenes chaos of a settlement day. Talk about why you love (or hate) open homes. Show your face, your personality, your opinions on whether or not granite countertops are overrated.
Because when someone's ready to buy or sell, they're not scrolling through their feed looking for the most polished expert. They're looking for someone who feels like *their* person.
So stop trying to educate everyone. Start letting people get to know you.
