People don't follow you because you post the latest interest rate changes - They can get that anywhere.

They follow you because they're trying to figure out if they trust you enough to hand over the biggest financial decision of their lives.

And trust doesn't come from being the most "educational." It comes from being the most *real*.

I've been on both sides of this, as an agent, as a BDM, and now helping agents build their presence online. And I can tell you, the ones who win aren't the ones just posting market reports. They're the ones showing up as actual humans.

Share the behind-the-scenes chaos of a settlement day. Talk about why you love (or hate) open homes. Show your face, your personality, your opinions on whether or not granite countertops are overrated.

Because when someone's ready to buy or sell, they're not scrolling through their feed looking for the most polished expert. They're looking for someone who feels like *their* person.

So stop trying to educate everyone. Start letting people get to know you.

Can we talk about the never ending dig for the right key?

If you're a sales agent, property manager, or inspection agent juggling multiple keys, you know this feeling way too well.

All your keys loose in your bag. Rattling around together. You're standing there digging through everything while someone's waiting on you.

Honestly, these key organisers are such a no brainer. Quality made hooks that keep your keys safe, secure and actually easy to find when you need them.

Posting a pretty photo of your suburb with "Love where I work ❤️" is not local content.

It's filler. And your audience knows it.

Real local content positions you as the area expert, not just someone who lives there.

HERE IS WHAT TO POST INSTEAD:

❌ "Beautiful day in [suburb]" with a beach photo
✅ "3 things changing in [suburb] that buyers need to know right now"

❌ Reposting a cafe's story with "Love this place!"
✅ "The 5 local businesses I always recommend to new residents (and why)"

❌ Sunset photo with heart emoji
✅ "Why families are choosing [suburb] over [neighboring suburb] in 2026"

Your local knowledge is one of your biggest assets. Stop wasting it on filler.

If you’re only posting listings, you’re missing everyone who’s not ready yet, and you arent connecting with your followers, keep in mind these 4 pillars - local, personal, educational + then your sales.

🔺“Do I need to do cringey reels to attract attention?”
Nope. You don’t need to go viral, or be someone you aren't, you need to be consistent, connect with your followers and be visible.

🔺“What if I don’t have listings?”
Then this is your time to build trust. Share tips, about you, market insights, FAQ's, behind the scenes, people will choose you if they connect with you, not because you post listings on social media.

Back in January, our world changed in the best way when we welcomed our beautiful baby boy 🤍

To say the last few weeks have been a blur is a massive understatement …

To give you a little glimpse, I recently had a “surprise” birthday.
Not the cute, planned kind …
The kind where I genuinely didn’t realise it was March, let alone my birthday 😅

That’s newborn life for you.

The last few weeks has really forced me to slow down, embrace the chaos, and soak up all the tiny moments.

If you know me, you know I’m usually a bit of a go getter / workaholic … but this chapter has been pretty special, and I’m so excited to find my rhythm blending mum life and business (however that ends up looking).
