💦 Burst Pipe Repair & Water Line Upgrade 💦

Called out to a burst water pipe caused by old polybutylene pipework, a product unfortunately well known for failures as it ages.

To provide a long-term solution, we rerouted the cold water supply from the hot water system through the ceiling cavity and replaced the affected section with quality AUSPEX pipe and fittings.

✅ Burst pipe repaired
✅ Polybutylene pipe removed from the affected area
✅ New AUSPEX water line installed
✅ Reliable long-term solution

The photos show the new pipework route, including the external connection and ceiling installation before reinstatement.

We attended site, located and exposed the damaged section of sewer, removed broken pipework and completed a full PVC sewer repair including new fittings and inspection opening. Drainage system was tested and restored back into service the same day. 👌

Completed the replacement of a section of failing polybutylene (Pro-Fit) water service lines today. This type of pipe is well known for becoming brittle over time and prone to unexpected bursts, something you definitely don’t want hidden in your roof space.

Upgraded the system to Auspex, a far more durable and reliable solution designed to handle pressure and last long term.
