The apartment in lovely Mosman Park is now available approx mid Oct, 2021. Scroll down for more photos. I (the owner) will occasionally be staying at the apartment and using the smaller bedroom, but mostly you will have the apartment (apart from my room) to yourself. Rent $260 a week.
Mosman Park is known for its millionaire mansions and is ideally placed "between the river and the sea". The fully furnished and equipped, modern apartment is only 6 mins to Cottesloe Beach, 4 mins to the Swan River, enjoys spectacular sunsets, has a swimming pool and is very convenient for public transport.
The apartment is ideal for professionals/FIFO with excellent references, as well as conscientious/mature age Notre Dame, UWA or Murdoch University students. (For younger students with no rental history, I generally ask parents to stand as guarantors.)
The flat has a carpeted larger bedroom with queen size bed, built in wardrobe, ceiling fan, desk with lamp and chair.
Water and heating for water, as well as basic Internet, is included in the rent, unlimited NBN internet would be $35 extra a month, cost can be shared between us.)
The apartment is fully equipped with a new fridge, washing machine, vacuum cleaner, cooking and eating utensils/crockery, coffee pot etc, 2 stand lamps, TV table, bookshelf, wood dining table, chairs, sofa (sofa bed), rug ceiling fan, reverse cycle ac/heater, portable ac, bedding, towels and more, and everything is comparatively new. The balcony has two chairs, table, plant and small BBQ. The flat itself was quite recently repainted and recarpeted, so it's fresh and ready to go.
Public transport is close to hand with bus as good as outside the door, and Victoria St Station a 9 min walk; Fremantle is down the road and easy to get to by bus or train (2 stops); 6 mins from Cottesloe Beach and 3 mins from the Swan River. The nearest beach to walk to is 14 mins. A recently revamped shopping centre with a Coles supermarket is within walking distance and a few mins by car or bike; IGA, a 3 min drive, restaurants and cafes and even the open air cinema, Camelot, are all within walking distance; and, it’s 20 mins to the city by train and 15 mins by car to UWA.
The recently renovated building has new lift and a secure entry visual system. There is a bike room and laundry with industrial sized washing machines and driers for larger items.
Bond is 4 weeks rent and references and past rental history will be required (see above).
