From boring to beautiful ✨

We managed to steal some space from the room next door to increase the size of this room without losing any space. How? The main bed had a built in wardrobe plus a walk in. Who needs both? So we said goodbye to the built in and now Marley has her own space to enjoy 🤍

Now here’s a before & after that I am in love with 🤍 The minute we walked into this house we had this vision.

What we’ve done:
✔️ Closed in the sunken lounge room
✔️ Installed six skylights throughout the lounge/kitchen
✔️ Closed in the ceiling. This was a big decision but with the beams we had it wouldn’t of worked to keep it open
✔️ Removed the entrance room to create one open living area
✔️ Removed old fireplace & replaced with a double sided one
✔️ New flooring, blinds & sheers

Anyone else so obsessed?! I couldn’t LOVE our room more if I tried 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼 The red wall was the first thing to go, we removed the aircon which we restored in our guest accomodation, pendants gone, fresh carpet along with blinds and sheers. Seeing the end result makes me the happiest 🙌🏼

Ok ok wardrobes aren’t that exciting but when you’ve been living out of tubs for soooo long this is HEAVEN 🫶🏼 I’m glad I trusted my gut and decked out the kids wardrobes in the same tassie oak as the main WIR. It all flows and is LUXE ✨ Cannot fault the entire process with 🙌🏼
