Construction on Stage 5 at The Sanctuary continues to move forward, however recent periods of inclement weather have impacted progress across the site, resulting in delays to the construction program.

Kerb and channel works have now been completed, and retaining wall construction is progressing well. Asphalt works were scheduled to commence 2 weeks ago, however these have been delayed due to the wet conditions. Asphalt will be laid as soon as the site has dried sufficiently, and conditions are suitable.

As a result of the weather-related delays, the anticipated practical completion date has been revised from June to July 2026.

Following practical completion, Council inspections will be undertaken before the project moves into the titles process. Titles are currently anticipated to be issued in late Q3, with the development team continuing to work closely with Council and the Titles Office to help streamline approvals wherever possible.

This Saturday, we pause to honour and remember those who have served and sacrificed for our country.

For residents of The Sanctuary, there are several local ANZAC Day services and events taking place across Port Macquarie:
Dawn Service – 5:30 AM
Town Square Cenotaph, corner of Clarence & Horton Streets
An early morning service followed by community reflection.

Main Service & March – Port Macquarie CBD
The march commences at 9:30 AM from the Clock Tower, proceeding along Horton Street to the Cenotaph. This is followed by the main commemoration service at 10:30 AM at the War Memorial, corner of Clarence & Horton Streets.

Panthers Port Macquarie – Community Gathering
Morning service and breakfast, followed by traditional 2UP, live sport, and music throughout the afternoon.

We encourage everyone to take a moment to attend a service, reflect, and honour the ANZAC spirit alongside the local community.
