A heartfelt post below…

We are always so incredibly grateful for the support you all give us and we are asking for huge support for the coming two Saturdays…

The next two Saturdays are hard for us. The Tour Down Under basically means we have virtually zero trade and income for two full Saturdays in one month. Our weekends are our days we rely on and so this event makes our month really hard.

We have decided to open our gates this year and are asking you to still come in and shop. It might be sh*t to get here, there might be some detours in place, but we need your support more than ever over the next two Saturdays.

We know we aren’t the only small businesses that struggle during events like this so make sure to visit and support those other local organizations who might be hard to access too during this time . 🫶

EDIT we are open on the Monday public holiday

We look forward to seeing you soon…🫶🌴🫶🌴🫶

Port Willunga, located along the stunning Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia, is famous for its calm turquoise waters, golden cliffs, and the iconic remnants of the Star of Greece shipwreck. But tucked beneath the cliffs lies something even more unique – the Port Willunga caves, also known as the “fishermen’s caves.”

About the Caves:
• These caves were originally carved into the sandstone cliffs by fishermen in the 19th century to store boats and fishing gear.
• Today, they make for a striking photo opportunity and a peaceful, shaded hideaway to relax on warm days.
• The caves blend beautifully into the landscape, offering a sense of timelessness and solitude.

Why It’s a Relaxing Destination:
• Gentle waves and soft sands make it ideal for swimming or lying back with a book.
• The serene setting beneath the cliffs creates a natural cocoon away from crowds.
• The caves offer cool shade, perfect for escaping the midday sun while listening to the ocean’s rhythm.
• Sunsets here are magical, with golden light bathing the caves and cliffs in warm hues.

Tips for Visiting:
• Bring a picnic or a beach mat – the caves make a lovely nook to unwind with food and friends.
• Early mornings and weekday visits are quieter.
• Great for photos, especially with the old jetty pylons in the background.
