Already the ancient Romans knew the basic principle of word-of-mouth and referral business.
Or more though, they didn’t have much other choices.
👉None of the means of communication and inter connection we operate with in our modern times existed back then, so business was done with what we call it today, old school: personal recommendations, face to face communication, reliable customer service, timely delivery of goods and services and handshake deals.👈
Of course ramifications could be harsh if one didn’t honour their agreement.
💥And guess what, despite all the modern cons, old school still works (maybe apart from handshake deals), because it puts the human into the equation.💥
⚠️The other day I spoke to a mortgage broker about his fall over rate of pre-approved new home buyer clients and he reckoned it is about 50%.
