Sun Villages presentation Road trip coming up in June 2023.
Traveling up the coast to Noosa (arrive on 10th June) then down an inland route. As far W. as Adelaide and S. to Tasmania.

We are CHALLENGING the build-to-rent (BTR) model - the rents are to be subsidised by tax dollars for 15 years, and built with the superannuation funds of those who can’t afford a home of their own!
What happens after 15 years? No ownership, no security in old age, no hope. And who owns these places? Corporations who are subsidised for 15 years by our taxes, and are then free to make a windfall capital gain if it’s resold?

If you are a CHANGE WARRIOR then please help to spread the Sun Villages message and challenge the BTR model.

Our new model of home-ownership has the potential to make obsolete the affordable housing issue is about to start a movement. Yesterday - 6.6.2022 we had the formation meeting of the Sun Villages co-op that will link together all projects that use the Sun Villages model. It's a 'people powered' movement - a way people can help themselves. They have to form a group and get a project going. The proto-type is being built in NSW on the ACT border (site pictured below), but there are folks in other areas who are interested in the model. If everyone who had no chance of owning their own home, simply combined their super-fund monies, then there would be enough to fund every new development in Australia! Think of how amazing this is - those with the problem provide the solution! Taking responsibility for ones super-fund would also a) stop super-fund monies from adding to the destruction of the planet, and b) prevent those that can't afford rent, from being put into big unsustainable apartment blocks that are built and owned by big corporations who eventually put up the rent to market price! Learn from the 2019 German event when 40,000 took to the streets in protest of these big corporations who never maintained their apartments properly and had just raised the rents. Do we really want this in Australia?

Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th, Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd.
