Happy Birthday Matt , I hope you have an amazing day over in Vanuatu, I wish I could be with you to celebrate, they say that the true testament of a man and a friend is when they are put under the most pressure without warning.

Over the past year you have shown the character that only a few have, thank you for being you.

A true friend is someone who when trauma hits they walk with you side by side and you have been glued to me and my daughter throughout a hard situation that was dealt to us.

I have no doubt you will be a great Dad very shortly and I can’t wait to share those happy moments as a family with you and Ash

Today, my heart aches as I struggle to come to terms with the devastating loss of my beloved son Cameron. At just 30 years young, his passing was way too soon, leaving a void in my life that can never be filled. The pain in my heart is immense and multiplies as a new day begins. He was not just my son, but my best friend, my confidant, and my source of endless joy. Cam has left an indelible mark on mine and many souls who knew him, and I find solace in the cherished memories we shared.

Even as I find it difficult to see any life without him I look at his amazing mother and his beautiful sister who he adored and I see his radiant smile through them for comfort, his family was his true love. Cam lived life to the fullest embracing every moment with passion and zest that inspired all who knew him. His laughter was infectious, his Witt mesmerizing, but most of all his love was boundless .

As I grapple with the pain of his absence, I will take comfort with the love that our family will continue to hold in our boys memory
