BILLBERGIA ADVANCES $3.2 BILLION VISION FOR WATERFRONT MASTERPLAN

Transforming former industrial land into a connected waterfront village, Rhodes Bay Masterplan will unlock public access to this stretch of Parramatta River’s foreshore for the first time in over 100 years.

“Rhodes Bay represents a once-in-a-generation opportunity to transform the peninsula’s industrial legacy into a vibrant, connected waterfront community. By opening up public access to the Parramatta River and bringing together contemporary homes, retail, dining and essential services, the Masterplan will set a new benchmark for urban liveability,” said Saul Moran, Billbergia’s Development Director.

It promises to be a fantastic day that brings the community together through sport, fitness, creativity and connection, with something for everyone.

Case Study: Olga among the last SMSF buyers to get in before the 2026 deadline

Leading Sydney developer Billbergia has seen an uplift in investor sales as SMSF buyers rushed to beat the 10 August deadline for new lending restrictions.

“We have seen established SMSFs seeking to add final properties to their fund while they can, and also others who had just set up their SMSF in time to buy before the deadline,” said John Kim, Sales Manager at Billbergia.

Seasoned SMSF investors Olga and Louie Ramos, aged 48 and 46 respectively, have been quick to snap up a fourth investment property within Chatswood Grand Residences for their SMSF.

“Before we opened the business we were both working long hours in IT and it was really when we had our first child that we started planning for the future – creating our own business and also setting up our SMSF,” Olga said.

The couple were quick to secure a two-bedroom-plus media room apartment in Chatswood Grand Residences for $2.1 million ahead of the 10 August deadline.

With a strong focus on resident amenity and wellness, Chatswood Grand Residences’ podium rooftop recreation level will feature a swimming pool, spa, sauna, steam room and BBQ area set within lush, landscaped gardens. Plans also include an indoor gym, yoga facilities and virtual golf room.

KINSELLA FAMILY DINNER 2026

Once again, we are inviting our industry partners, stakeholders and subcontractors to join us for this year’s charitable night and raise funds together for this great cause. If you are a Billbergia partner, please check your emails for the invitation.

In 2005, John Kinsella co-founded HOPE for Cambodian Children, working to raise funds to purchase land and build the HOPE Centre on the outskirts of Battambang to care for over 130 children displaced as a result of the HIV pandemic sweeping the country.

After establishing a foundation to oversee and manage the Centre, the Kinsella’s are still ambassadors and active supporters and fundraisers for the Charity. With HOPE’s support, the Centre still provides support to 45 HIV+ mothers with healthy children and provides education services to over 350 children on a daily basis.
