IMPORTANT NEWS
An announcement yesterday has confirmed the tenancy legislation changes that were scheduled for 1st July 2020 have now been delayed to 1st January 2021 at the latest.
This doesn’t mean they won’t come in earlier if the Covid situation improves, however the delay is a huge relief for many overwhelmed PM’s at the moment whilst dealing with the Covid 19 financial crisis.
The domestic violence changes will still take place on 1st July as originally drafted and is fully supported by the real estate community!
