The newly released Victoria Park Games precinct draft masterplan reveals just how much Brisbane’s inner north is set to evolve ahead of 2032.
What stands out from the plans isn’t just the proposed Olympic stadium but the
surrounding parklands that will become part of everyday life for many Queenslanders.
Expansive green spaces, wetlands and waterways, walking tracks, recreational lawns are on the cards as well as better connections between Spring Hill, Herston and Kelvin Grove.
The draft masterplan is due to be finalised within weeks, and the site all set to be handed over to the Games authority on June 1.
For residents of Oria Spring Hill, it’s another reminder of just how connected this location is to some of Brisbane’s most significant long-term lifestyle and infrastructure investment.
Together, these projects are helping shape a greener, more walkable and more connected inner-city Brisbane right on Oria’s doorstep.
