Australians are exhausted.
Exhausted from working longer hours, taking bigger risks, carrying more pressure and somehow ending up with less in their pocket every single year.
The government wants a slice of everything:• your income• your business• your fuel• your property• your investments• your transactions• your super• your growth• your success
Work harder? They take more. Earn more? They take more. Take risks and build something? They take more again.
Meanwhile the people actually out there creating jobs, building businesses, employing Australians and keeping the economy moving are drowning in costs, stress and pressure just trying to stay ahead.
As an auctioneer and Head of Growth, I see it every day: Families stretched. Business owners exhausted. Agents grinding weekends. Buyers battling affordability. Operators trying to survive rising overheads while governments continue clipping the ticket at every possible turn.
At some point Australians stop asking for handouts. We just want governments to stop treating productive people like an unlimited ATM.
Because right now it feels like the harder you work in this country… the more hands appear in your pocket 😭
