After finishing school, Sylvie graduated with a Diploma of Agribusiness Management at the University of Queensland's Gatton Campus. "I had no idea who I wanted to be or what I wanted to do but everything that has happened has led me to where I am today." After university, Sylvie worked for Jamie Seccombe Cutting Horses before mustering cattle on properties near Charters Towers and Greenvale and is now a sales agent in the Knight Frank Agribusiness department in Rockhampton.
