Choosing a property manager based on fees instead of service.

Cheap fees sound great at the start, but they often turn into an expensive run at the end. Many agencies offer low fees just to “win” the business. The focus becomes volume, not service - managing as many properties as possible, and losing sight of how those properties should actually be cared for.

That’s where missed maintenance, poor communication, and costly disputes start.

🚩 My top tip when choosing a property manager:
Ask how many properties they personally manage and what their communication process looks like. If they can’t give you clear, confident answers - that’s a red flag.
