🏡 BIG NEWS for WA First Home Buyers!
The WA Government has announced major increases to First Home Buyer stamp duty exemptions and concessions as part of the 2026–27 State Budget.
Here’s what’s changing:
✔️ No transfer duty on homes up to $600,000
✔️ Concessions available up to $800,000
✔️ Vacant land exemption increasing to $450,000
✔️ First Home Owner Grant cap increasing to $800,000 south of the 26th parallel
✔️ Expanded off-the-plan concessions extended to 30 June 2028
These changes apply to eligible contracts entered into from 7 May 2026, with implementation expected later this year.
