Sanctuary Grove | Fletcher

Sanctuary Grove is a boutique residential development of 20 architect-designed, two-storey townhouses in Fletcher.

When we became involved with the project, construction had already commenced before works stalled, creating a different set of challenges to a typical residential development.

We worked through the existing project, established a pathway forward and progressed Sanctuary Grove through to completion.

The finished development delivers contemporary, low-maintenance townhouses with private courtyards, landscaped communal areas, BBQ facilities and bicycle parking, set alongside bushland and close to local parks, sporting facilities and services.

A completed residential development we’re proud to have brought across the finish line.

Project spotlight: Velocity, Maryville.

When we began planning Velocity, its position alongside the Throsby Creek Cycleway presented an opportunity to think differently about how the development could connect with its surroundings.

Drawing on the principles of Bicycle Oriented Development, we explored how bicycle access, cycle parking and connections to the existing network could form part of the project from the early design stages.

Completed in 2020, Velocity delivered 31 architect-designed townhouses and went on to receive the HIA-CSR Hunter Housing Award for Townhouse/Villa Over 5 Dwellings.

The Quarter | Mayfield

An industrial edge, contemporary design and 34 new homes in the heart of Mayfield.

The Quarter saw the delivery of 22 apartments and 12 three-bedroom townhouses, bringing two distinct residential styles together within one integrated development.

The project draws on Mayfield’s urban character through a strong palette of brickwork, metal detailing and contemporary architectural forms.

The apartments range from one to three bedrooms, while 12 bespoke townhouses sit through the centre of the development, creating a varied mix of homes across the site.

Positioned between Hanbury and Baker Streets, The Quarter benefits from everything that makes Mayfield such a well-connected Newcastle suburbs: established retail, cafés, services and transport, with the C*D and coastline close by.

A project that combined density, diversity and design without losing sight of the character of its surroundings.

A first look at Port Macquarie Childcare 🌱

Our DA-approved 106-place early education and childcare centre is set to commence construction shortly.

The centre will provide a purpose-built environment focused on learning, development and wellbeing.

With approvals now in place, we’re excited to see the project move into delivery and begin sharing progress from site.

A closer look at Oasis Tourist Park, one of the tourism properties owned and managed by Paradise Communities.

Located around 20 minutes from Darwin, Oasis offers visitors a relaxed and welcoming place to stay while exploring the Northern Territory.

Surrounded by established tropical gardens, the park includes fully equipped cabins, powered and unpowered sites, a temperature-controlled magnesium swimming pool, camp kitchen, BBQ areas, guest laundry and comfortable shared spaces.

What makes Oasis special, however, is the community that has grown around it. It is a place where guests can settle in, meet fellow travellers and genuinely enjoy their time away.

Construction may be the most visible part of a development, but it is not where the work begins.

Before a project reaches site, the land needs to be understood, the opportunity tested, the right team engaged and the relevant planning, approval and documentation requirements addressed.

Every site presents a different set of opportunities and challenges, and the process can take months, or sometimes years, before construction begins.

At Landstone, we coordinate every stage of that journey, from initial site review through to construction delivery.

A first look at our Blackalls Park project.

Our proposed 13-townhouse development is currently progressing through the development application process, with early site preparation anticipated for Q4 2026, subject to the necessary approvals.

We’re working closely with local Hunter builder Valley Homes, alongside a team of experienced consultants, to develop a practical and thoughtfully designed residential community that feels appropriate for the surrounding area.

There are plenty of moving parts behind a project like this, and we’re fortunate to be working with Colour Monkey, Thomas & Associated Consulting, AEP, Purple Apple Access, Abacus Tree Services, SLR Consulting, Qualtest and De Witt as the plans continue to develop.

It’s still early days, but we’re looking forward to sharing more as the project progresses.

Concept imagery is preliminary and may change throughout the approval and detailed design process.
