Our Sue is pretty vocal but I’ve not caught it on camera until this morning when Valerie got a bit excited for breakfast and left him asleep in the yard. Thankfully this fella is so cool that despite some braying he calmly walked the long way around with me to catch up to mum.

We’ve been quiet on the socials front lately with the unexpected pregnancy of Candy who arrived to us scanned as “empty and healthy”.
We’ve been swept up in getting her comfortable with a little extra tlc and she foaled this beauty of a c**t this morning ☀️
With this news, the season will start with our sweet appy mare Valerie, so that Candy can have a well deserved break. More info on that to come!

A big Chestnut Tobero with big blue eyes, this beautiful girl is better known to us as Candy🍬
She will pass on an easy going nature and a solid build to her mule foal.
She’s loving the sun and replies with a long whinny every time she hears me whistle ☀️

Valerie 🎶
A few spot appy with a few of the sweetest traits I’ve come across, Valerie is the first mare to come to Mt Mule. She is a chestnut few spot Appaloosa and as you can see the spots are definitely few!
She will produce a sweet and likely colourful mule foal next season.
For now though Valerie is hanging out, being loved on and enjoying the start of Spring 🌼
