Our Hometown Australia Port Stephens Community Golf Challenge returned for its third year, bringing residents and team members together for a day of friendly competition, plenty of laughs and some memorable moments on the course.

From impressive bunker shots to a few adventurous drives into the lake, there was no shortage of fun and plenty of camaraderie.

A big congratulations to all our winners and participants and thank you to everyone who made the day a success!

We’re already looking forward to seeing off again next year!

There's something special about a community where people notice when you’re there and miss you when you’re gone.

After losing his wife, Kevin moved to Sydney to be closer to family. But he soon realised how much he missed the friendships, music and everyday connections he’d found at a Hometown Australia community.

So Kevin made the decision to return.

Now back among familiar faces, Kevin is once again enjoying the community he missed so much.

Winners Announced for the Arts & Craft Competition 2026 🎨🖌️

Residents showcased their incredible creativity and talents once again in this year’s Hometown Australia Arts & Crafts Competition. From beautifully crafted embroidery and appliqué pieces to impressive woodworking projects, paintings and drawings, the standard of entries was outstanding.

The judges were inspired by the passion, skill and dedication demonstrated across all submissions, making the selection process no easy task.
