If you are curious about the time period of the recent GMA TV show "Pulang Araw", then this is the heritage walk for you!
This Saturday, we return to the streets of Ermita to tell the story about the darkest chapter in Manila's history - the Second World War. From Calle Arroceros and Calle San Marcelino, to Calle Isaac Peral and Calle Florida, we will visit places linked to the war, from the end of "Pistaym" to the cataclysmic Battle of Manila in 1945. Learn more about the stories of the Second World War, from the attire of its combatants, stories of individuals and families, and the movement of troops to liberate the Pearl of the Orient.
Bringing into flesh the attire of the combatants are reenactors from the Wartime Heritage Guild - Philippines.
The tour is also a nod the recent GMA television show "Pulang Araw", which covers the Second World War and "Pistaym" period.
