Well I can’t help supporting my kids and being their biggest fan so this week it’s my daughter’s turn. Her partner Tim Woodz has been on the music scene as a singer songwriter for a while now, and for the last 12 months Madi, my daughter, has been travelling the east coast with Tim, singing at festivals , pubs, and private parties from Melbourne to cairns and beyond. Well wasn’t expecting to post on this page again, or at least not yet. But, where one business ends, another one kicks off. Well a huge but final hello to the region from our little Happy Days business. Want to firstly say how grateful we are for all the support the community has shown us over the last nearly 3 years working in this role throughout this magnificent region we all get to call home. Unfortunately, the time has come to close shop, and move on to another chapter. The people I’ve met, and friendships I’ve made working as a handyman have been inspirational on many occasions and it’s been a pleasure to be a part of a community that wants to support local business, and trusts a local to complete a job whatever the scenario. That’s been the big reward working for myself and again forever grateful to all the people who’ve used our little business over the last few years. I wish everyone well and hope that another local can fill in the small space I’ll leave. Again thank you to everyone and never forget that it’s always HAPPY DAYS😊🤙

Well another big Happy Days hello to one and all in the region. Hope you are enjoying the driest summer ever in central qld. Loving the rain but happy to have a little break for sure. Anyway, February has continued the trend for 2024 running flat out as always. From plastering a ceiling and building a cupboard space then painting what will be a new women’s only gym at colonial corner Sarina, to fitting doors and windows as well as a front door with a very fancy electronic fingerprint accessed door lock, what a month. Also spent a solid week gutting and fitting out a leaking shower. A very busy month so far with no gaps at this stage , but have definitely enjoyed seeing a local small business start up with the women’s Gym ( shoutout to Lauren and Sam ) as well as turning an old bathroom into something modern and enjoyable to use. Another great month full of happy days that’s for sure. Thankyou to everyone who continues to support our little business and looking forward to meeting everyone looking to make happy days in our region😊🤙

Well a huge happy days New Year to one and all in our amazing region. I hope the New Year’s resolutions are working out for everyone who made the commitment, and better luck next year for those like me who gave it a go😂😊🤙. I hope everyone is prepared for the next few days of weather as best they can too and we all enjoy a few cool days without any damage to property or too much inconvenience. Back to the work front though, and despite the heat, the Happy Days just keep flowing. I think this is going to be a very busy year for our little business. From replacing door handles and screen doors, to sheeting the butchery at bridge st IGA with stainless steel to aid in cleaning and keeping it functional, and painting the interior of a house, it’s been flat out. Looking forward to my first day off in 2024 and what a day to take off with Aussie day. Hoping everyone has a few beers or wines tomorrow, and celebrates with friends and family, the awesome country we live in tomorrow. The only thing better than an Aussie is an Aussie always chasing the Happy Days🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺. Cheers everyone 🍻
