We’re pleased to share that our streetscape works across Nirimba Fields are making great progress.

🚶‍♂️ Over 1.6km of new footpaths laid
🌳 More than 600 new street trees planted

These enhancements are an important part of the long-term
delivery of DHA’s Nirimba Fields neighbourhood, helping to create
a greener, more walkable and connected community for the many
families who call it home.

🚗 And there’s more on the way, with a final layer of asphalt to all
existing streets to be completed by the end of 2026.

Connected spaces for your family to play, learn, work and grow.

Nirimba Fields streetscape enhancements are coming to life 🌱

The next phase of streetscape works is underway at our Akuna Vista neighbourhood. Defence Housing Australia has contracted Perfection Landscape Services to deliver enhancements that will make the streets greener and easier to get around, with:

🚶‍♀️ Over 2km of new footpaths to improve connectivity and walkability
🌳 More than 600 new street trees for greener, cooler streets

These works are the next step in delivering on our promise of creating a well-connected, highly liveable community for generations to come.

Works will roll out progressively across Nirimba Fields and residents will be notified by mail ahead of works starting in their street. Thank you for your patience as we continue to invest in the neighbourhood.
