Nirimba Fields streetscape enhancements are coming to life 🌱

The next phase of streetscape works is underway at our Akuna Vista neighbourhood. Defence Housing Australia has contracted Perfection Landscape Services to deliver enhancements that will make the streets greener and easier to get around, with:

🚶‍♀️ Over 2km of new footpaths to improve connectivity and walkability
🌳 More than 600 new street trees for greener, cooler streets

These works are the next step in delivering on our promise of creating a well-connected, highly liveable community for generations to come.

Works will roll out progressively across Nirimba Fields and residents will be notified by mail ahead of works starting in their street. Thank you for your patience as we continue to invest in the neighbourhood.

Exciting news for Nirimba Fields – streetscape enhancements coming in early 2026.

Defence Housing Australia is preparing to start the next stage of neighbourhood works at Nirimba Fields with streetscape enhancements to begin soon.

The works will include:
🚶 New footpaths to make it easier and safer to walk around the area
🌳 Planting more than 600 street trees to create greener and cooler streets
🛣️ Final asphalt on local roads to improve safety for all road users

These works are an important step in finishing our existing streets and ensuring Nirimba Fields continues to be a great place to live.
