Job Description
A relatively new business venture, Redbank Estate is an extensively renovated 8 bedroom, 6 bathroom homestead that sits on a private 5 acres within the historic Wakefield Stud, 8 mins from Scone. We need a success-focused Manager to come on board and drive the business forward from the ground up, promoting and elevating the property so it reaches it’s full and true potential. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, and is looking for a position that they can put their stamp on and make their own. With a focus on the administration and accommodation side of the business initially, the role calls for someone that has the skills and experience to plan and organise various events at the property as well.
Job Responsibilities
* Presentation and condition of the Estate/Homestead and surrounds.
* Handling guest enquiries, bookings, and requests promptly and professionally, ensuring their experience is of a positive nature.
* Promoting, marketing, and advertising the Estate through social media, and local and intrastate networking circles.
* Promoting the Estate/Homestead as an events venue, and their associated planning and coordination.
* Coordinating and supervising maintenance and repairs when needed.
* Administration tasks as directed/requested on behalf of Middlebrook Valley Lodge/Wakefield Stud.
Job Requirements
We don't want an experienced Property Manager as such, however we need a person with drive, passion, focus and the ability to evolve and expand with the role, as your success will be controlled by you! A person from a customer service background with great time-management skills is imperative, as this is a client-focused role and you will be working autonomously the majority of the time. Your organisational skills are second to none, as is your attention to detail and the ability to think outside the square. This is a varied position with a focus on the Estate/Homestead, but the need to also assist with administration tasks related to Middlebrook Valley Lodge and Wakefield Stud also. Initially a PT role with days/hours flexible, the success you have will dictate whether it transitions into a FT role down the track.
