We’re proud to be showcasing our groundbreaking work with Encapsulac EPR at the No-Dig Conference in Melbourne this week (17–18 September 2025)!

Our collaboration on the Fair Street AC Encapsulation Asbestos Pipe Renewal—a world-first trial using the Encapsulated Pipe Reline (EPR) technique—has been recognised as a finalist for ASTT’s Rehabilitation/Renewal Project of the Year 🏆.

This innovative approach, developed in partnership with FST Technologies, GV Water, Intelligent Water Networks and R&R McClure, is setting new standards for safe, sustainable renewal of asbestos cement pipelines.

What the Structural Team @ CAF Has Been Up To

Cowwar Weir Level 2 Inspection

Our team, engaged by Southern Rural Water, conducted a Level 2 structural inspection of Cowwar Weir and other structures in the Macalister Irrigation District in Gippsland. Using our survey drone, we identified problem areas quickly and efficiently. Regular inspections help catch defects early, saving maintenance costs.
