The NSW Government is considering the introduction of Minimum Energy Efficiency Rental Standards (MEERs) for rental properties.

These proposed changes could have significant impacts on landlords, property managers and the broader rental market, including additional costs, compliance requirements and administrative obligations.

REINSW is actively advocating on behalf of members and will be lodging a formal submission to the Government. However, decision-makers must hear directly from those working in the industry.

We encourage property managers and landlords to have their say before the consultation closes.
