📣Singleton Market Report 13/05/2026📣
Great to see some rain across our region, although we are still hoping for more. Overall, today’s market was very solid. The steer portion eased slightly, however this followed a very strong Weaner Sale last Friday where many quality lines of steers were sold instead of today’s sale, reaching up to 535.4c/kg for the 200–280kg category. Heifers improved on the back of strong online competition, while demand for butcher calves also remained very strong.
The cow market continued to perform well considering the seasonal conditions and the decline in overall quality. Top cows lifted by 16 cents to reach 368.0c/kg, while the overall cow average improved by 2 cents to average 282.0c/kg.
