This is more than just a home. It’s a project built with purpose, supporting the incredible work of Cottage by the Sea, who provide life-changing experiences for young people in need through their camp programs and support services.

Every detail of this home has been thoughtfully delivered to create something truly special, while contributing to a cause that makes a real difference in our community.

If you’re looking for a home with heart, or simply want to see what’s possible when purpose and property come together, we’d love to see you there.

Day four of Mental Health Week was around the value of wholeness.

Yesterday afternoon the Core team engaged in guided tibetan sound bowl mediation.

What the importance of meditation?
Meditation promotes a sense of calm, peace and balance which may benefit both emotional well-being and overall health. Meditation can be used to promote relaxation, reduce stress levels, increase self-awareness and self-esteem, elevate the immune system, and even lengthen your attention span.

The benefits of meditation don't stop when your meditation session ends. It can help carry you through your day more calmly, and even manage the symptoms of certain medical conditions.

Welcome to day three of Mental Health Week. Today’s value is acceptance.

What's the importance of acceptance?

Acceptance can positively influence mental health as it acts as a gateway to compassion for oneself and others, which is important for healing and moving on.

Our team has been regularly getting together on a Wednesday, by starting their day with a yoga session.

What's the importance of yoga?

This Mental Health Week we shine a spotlight on the impact that mental health plays on our physical and social well-being and how we can use proactive strategies to reduce and manage our stress and anxiety levels.

Yin yoga is a quiet, meditative practice, combines long-held static floor postures with breath work.

The practice of yoga is perfect to find balance in this culture we live in and has a positive effect on the central nervous system. The use of yoga, when combined with breathwork and meditation, can decrease anxiety, improve overall mood and create a sense of well-being.

Awareness. Belonging. Connection.

Mental ill health is a growing problem in Australia. Looking after your mental health and wellbeing, and knowing how to support others, has never been more important.

Good mental health is when we can cope with the stressors of our daily lives, participate in loving relationships, contribute to our community, and work towards our goals. Everyone has mental health. And we can all benefit from looking after our own mental health and the mental health of our communities.

This World Mental Health Day – October 10 – the message is simple: “Look after your mental health, Australia.”

This morning our team got together for a healthy breakfast to kick off mental health week! Stay tuned! We have a week long of health and wellness activities planned!

Good mood food – how food influences mental wellbeing
Food fuels both body and mind. We eat nutritious foods so that our bodies can grow, repair, and function well.

When we choose nutritious foods, we’re providing our body (and brain) with the building blocks needed to be at our best. From vitamins and minerals to healthy fats and fibre, all nutrients play a role in brain health and function.

Following a healthy pattern of eating is linked with better stress management, improved sleep quality, increased concentration, and better mental wellbeing in general. Just as our food choices affect our physical and mental wellbeing, the opposite is also true – we’re more likely to follow a healthy diet when we’re in a good headspace.
