The only requirement that the client wanted for this custom 9 x 2.5m custom Millie model was that- ‘everything must be black’. (Inclusive of the toilet and air conditioning unit).

This ‘Dark Academia’ inspired Tiny Home on wheels oozes moodiness with a surprisingly distinct calm feel, once inside.

It’s the kind of place you could hibernate in for many days at the arrival of winter. With rich coloured cork floors, low positioned led lights and VJ paneling throughout, the contrasting textures soften the flush of black.

Although not yet completely furnished as it’s just been delivered to its new pad, this fully off grid home, with a 9m x 2.2m hardwood deck trailer can go wherever the client wants to go.

When we kicked off 2026 in late January this year we had a friendly 1300 something followers here on Insta and a very intimate 300 fans over on Facebook…

Now, between both platforms we have over 77,000 of you who love what we do. And we couldn’t thank you enough for the support!

Konpak is going through a fine tuning period where we have the goal to deliver the highest quality homes available in Australia. What we build now is completely advanced from what we started building when the business started 3.5 years ago and that growth has only been made possible by clients who have given us the faith to build their homes.

We’re not about mass producing, we’re about producing a limited range of products that are all designed and built, exceptionally well.

Let’s chat bathrooms. The smallest space in the house yet one that can still be a definite standout. We have two main bathroom configurations in our Billi model. One that does and one that doesn’t include a laundry.

What do you do if the home doesn’t have a laundry? Many clients will have an external space (garden shed etc) for their laundry. It’s a simple fix for a necessary item.

Each layout and finish can create a completely different look. Above head rain shower? Fully tiled wall? Louvre windows or even an external door.

A small space doesn’t need to be defined by limited layout options.

Wow! What an Expo and what a huge three days!

Thousands of people through the gates (exact numbers to be confirmed but we’ve heard close to 10k), hundreds of serious conversations about Tiny Home living, tens of contracts signed or customers ready to move forward and two display homes sold.

The Brisbane Tiny Home Expo Australia over the weekend was our most successful exhibition we’ve been to yet.

From an attendance perspective, we found that many people are becoming more educated and interested about Tiny Home living and are also seeing Tiny Home living as a serious pathway to housing security, not just a novel way to live.

From a Konpak product perspective, the most consistent feedback we received was around the high quality and finishes of our homes and in particular, how liveable the Billi model feels.

The team at Konpak are so grateful to have had so many people from around the country pop in and pay us a visit and allow us to showcase what we not only do but how passionate we are about helping people start their Tiny Home and modular build journey.
