Every young person deserves the chance to feel safe, supported and hopeful about their future 🧡

Youth homelessness continues to affect thousands of young people across Australia, with almost 1 in 4 people experiencing homelessness aged between 12 and 24. In Victoria alone, more than 7,600 young people are affected.

This World Homelessness Day, we’re shining a light on Lighthouse Foundation's important work, providing safe homes and therapeutic care for children and young people who need it most.

It's great to see this street beautification project bringing a splash of colour to Southbank! 🎨

We're proud to support initiatives like this alongside Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School and City of Melbourne, helping transform our streets into something the whole community can enjoy. A big well done to the team at VCASS for leading this fantastic project, and thanks to the City of Melbourne for its support and to everyone involved in bringing it to life. Free public transport has been extended for another month 🚆

You’ll now have more time to travel across Victoria on trains, trams and buses without the usual costs. Offer ends 31 May 2026.

Even better, from 1 June until 1 January 2027, public transport will move to half-price fares for all passengers, including concession fares.
