🏠 ARE YOU WORRIED PROPERTY PRICES WILL DROP? 🏠

The Real Estate Institute of Queensland says interstate migration will prevent the Gold Coast property market from crashing.

There's been a slowdown in the Sydney and Melbourne housing markets, which is forecast to continue through the year.

REIQ Zone Chairman, Andrew Henderson said it is unlikely to impact Gold Coast property prices.

"We are still seeing very strong migration numbers from those interstate capitals plus we're seeing Brisbane retirees," he said.

"In our local Gold Coast housing market we are are still seeing quite a good number of sales and quite a number of sold stickers still going up on properties."
