The Strathalbyn Feature Sale saw solid competition across all weight ranges, with strong demand for well‑bred steers and heifers and very pleasing averages achieved.

🐂 Steers
• 400–500kg steers averaged 479c/kg
• 330–400kg steers averaged 475c/kg, selling from 351–503c/kg
• 280–330kg steers averaged 468c/kg
• 200–280kg steers were a highlight, averaging 539c/kg, with a top of 576c/kg
• Light steers under 200kg sold to 539c/kg

🐄 HEIFERS
• 400–500kg heifers averaged 434c/kg
• 330–400kg heifers averaged 464c/kg, ranging from 386–484c/kg
• 280–330kg heifers averaged 450c/kg
• 200–280kg heifers averaged 470c/kg, with a top of 522c/kg

Overall, the sale reflected continued confidence in the cattle market, with buyers showing strong appetite for quality lines across all categories.
