Please also note this advice from SPADCO:

In recent weeks two of our SPADCO Members have had lucky escapes falling into SEPTIC TANKS
This was caused by walking on the concrete lid of the tank, which gave way. The concrete lid appears OK, but the underside is very deteriorated. Most tanks in this area are fairly old and pose a serious risk to safety

Please do not walk on the SEPTIC TANK CONCRETE LID

Even if you have previously been approved for a pet & wish to expand your pet family.
