We're beyond proud to announce that ONE Subiaco has been recognised with two prestigious national awards—Best Residential Development and Best Mixed Use Development.

AWARD WINNER: We’re proud to announce that ONE Subiaco has been crowned State Development of the Year in Western Australia for 2024 by the Property Council of Australia! This prestigious national award recognises the very best in Australian development.

ONE Subiaco has also been named a finalist at the National Awards in Sydney, competing in the categories of Best Residential Development and Best Mixed-Use Development. This is a testament to the project’s exceptional quality and innovation.

Approximately four years ago, Blackburne acquired the site where The Grove Residences now stands. With its roots dating back to the 1900s as the Brighton Hotel—a serene retreat for guests seeking solace by the river and sea—the site later evolved into an aged-care facility, maintaining a legacy of promoting health and well-being. Today, it stands as a home to many, fostering community connections and providing a space where its rich heritage is celebrated and remembered.

From the outset, the vision for The Grove Residences was to honour the site's heritage by prioritising the well-being of its residents. The completion of this project demonstrates how revitalising a derelict site can breathe new life into a community, transforming it into an enduring and well-loved asset for others to enjoy. We owe this success to our dedicated team—from architects and builders to consultants, trades, and our internal team—who have passionately brought this vision to life.

We also want to thank our buyers who placed their trust and confidence in us all those years ago, before The Grove Residences even began to take shape.
