At Kingsfield, even the roads have been designed with sustainability in mind.

In an Australian East Coast first, Kingsfield’s roads incorporate Reconophalt, a high-quality asphalt made from 100% recycled post-consumer materials, including used tyres, plastic bags and packaging, glass and printer cartridge toner.

Just one kilometre of a dual-lane road can contain the equivalent of 500,000 plastic bags, 165,000 glass bottles and toner from 12,000 printer cartridges.

It is a more sustainable way to create the roads connecting Kingsfield’s growing neighbourhoods.
