I'm very excited about the new deck we're about to have built. It will be in front of the main bedroom with access through the sliding door (there's a narrow deck there now). It will extend to be level with the house, have steps into the grassy part of the yard, provide more privacy and (when we cut a tree down) a lovely water view. And! It will have a roof! I can put a couple of comfy chairs out there, and adults can sit and relax while watching the kids (human and/or fur) play in the yard!
