𝗤𝘂𝗲𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 - 𝗧𝗼𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗹𝗲𝗮 - 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 The Bruce Highway site access should re-open in mid-April.
Installation will be completed on the combined services route, which will carry important rail communication and signalling services for the new rail track. The manufacturing facility continues to take shape with some out of hours works planned within the building.
𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆
𝑈𝑝𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑤𝑜𝑟𝑘𝑠
• Lay turf and landscape throughout the site.
• Install walkways, stairs and handrails within the manufacturing building.
• Connect electrical cables for outdoor lighting and site systems, such as security and signage.
• Test and commission the manufacturing equipment used for train compliance.
• Out-of-hours works between 4pm and 5am Monday to Saturday. Work will be contained within the manufacturing building and is expected to generate low levels of noise. Our small work crew will access the site using the entrance on Ritchie Road.
𝑂𝑛𝑔𝑜𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑤𝑜𝑟𝑘𝑠
• Finish testing and commissioning the new watermain connections through Torbanlea.
• Progressing construction of the internal access road off the Bruce Highway.
• On extremely hot days, concrete pours may start at 5am until late March to ensure worker safety and to allow concrete to cure properly.
• Install, test and commission specialist manufacturing equipment, including cranes, within the manufacturing building.
• Undertake road works to install pavements and heavy vehicle turnaround bays.
• Install rail corridor infrastructure including fencing, footpaths, gates, lighting, security and landscaping.
𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲
𝑂𝑛𝑔𝑜𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑤𝑜𝑟𝑘𝑠
• Drainage, civil works and spreading hydro mulch within the rail corridor.
• Install power, signalling and communication cables to connect the facility to the North Coast rail line.
