Everyone is waiting for Australia’s property market to crash, but the bigger issue is the number of homes we’re not building.

Australia is projected to fall around 250,000 homes short of its housing target, with rising construction costs, slow approvals and limited supply continuing to put pressure on the market.

Until housing supply catches up with demand, the underlying shortage will remain one of the biggest challenges facing Australia’s property market.

Sometimes the value in commercial property is not in changing the building. It is in changing the income.

By securing a tenant before settlement, a $600,000 property was valued at close to $1 million without any renovations or physical changes. Adding a lease and solving the vacancy problem created almost $400,000 in value.
