Meet Josh.

Josh joined Landmark in June 2022 as a cadet, spending his first 18 months at Victoria & George in Kogarah, learning on the ground and seeing the project through from start to finish.

From there, he moved to The Macquarie Collection, stepping into Site Engineer and Leading Hand roles and continuing to build his experience on site.

Three years on, Josh is now a Sub Foreman at 2nd Avenue in Blacktown - taking on more responsibility and mentoring the next group of cadets coming through, just as others did for him.
We take a lot of pride in seeing our people grow and build their careers at Landmark - and in creating the opportunities that allow them to do it.

Josh’s journey is a great example of that.

19 square metres of Sydney red gum, brought to life at The Macquarie Collection.

Located across the entry façade, this artwork was created by First Nations artist Adam Laws, a descendant of the Dharug and Darkinjung peoples of the Blue Mountains and Western Sydney.

Inspired by the angophora, or Sydney red gum, the work captures the movement of its branches, the patterns of its bark and the way light moves across the landscape - abstracted and printed across architectural panels that wrap around the building.

Commissioned as part of the public art program at Lachlan’s Line, the piece brings a connection to Country into the everyday experience of the building.

The part you’ll never see.

There’s a huge amount of work that goes into a building before it ever starts to rise above ground.

At Live in Caringbah, work below ground means excavation, foundations, basement structure, waterproofing and services - all carefully coordinated before construction can really start moving upwards.
It’s one of the most complex stages of construction, and eventually, almost all of it will be hidden from view.

Site update from LIVE Caringbah. 🏗️

With Building C already up to Level 6 of 9 and Basement 1 underway for Towers A and B, things are moving fast.

Last week we held our first pre-settlement tour day for The Macquarie Collection and the energy spoke for itself!

Future residents got to tour their new homes for the first time, meet the team behind the build, and connect with partners on site covering everything from strata to window furnishings and furniture fit-outs.

We are so excited to have had the chance to welcome residents to their new homes! 🏡
