Our Altitude Access team recently completed the installation of large-format vinyl graphics across the façade glazing at Forum West.

Using rope access allowed our technicians to carefully position and apply each section while working around the building geometry and maintaining precise alignment across multiple glazing panels.

A great result from the team, combining specialist access, careful planning and attention to detail to deliver a clean, professional finish.

A hidden defect. A major public safety risk. A technically challenging repair.

During a façade inspection in North Sydney, our team identified multiple areas of concrete delamination surrounding large embedded threaded rods left from the original construction of this 40-storey building.

As moisture penetrated the concrete over time, corrosion developed around the embedded steel, causing expansion, cracking and eventual delamination of the concrete cover.

With a busy pedestrian footpath directly below, the risk of falling concrete required immediate attention.

To safely complete the repairs, our team:

• Installed overhead protection via scaffold and exclusion controls
• Utilised a fully encapsulated rope access repair system
• Removed all unsound concrete and exposed embedded steel
• Treated corrosion and prepared the substrate
• Installed supplementary reinforcement where required
• Reinstated the concrete profile using a high-performance repair mortar
• Finished repairs to restore durability and long-term protection

The result is a structurally sound repair completed with minimal disruption to the surrounding area while maintaining public safety throughout the project.

Another stage completed on our ventilation riser recladding project.

With the framing, sarking and FC sheeting now fully installed, the team is moving into the finishing phase. Joints are being carefully set and all fixings covered to ensure a smooth, uniform substrate ready for coating.

Attention to detail at this stage is critical. Proper jointing and preparation directly impact the durability and final appearance of the system, especially in exposed external environments.

Painting works have now commenced and the transformation is already taking shape. A clean, sharp finish backed by a system built to last.
