FIRST HOME BUYERS!
You know the loved one that cares about you, that wants you to win, and get the best house possible? The one that you bring along to the opens for support, guidance and love?
Stop heaping them with too much responsibility!
Let them be there for moral support, but if they have no runs on the board when it comes to buying property, dealing with real estate agents, negotiating, auctions, etc, then don't have them there for that!
Let them support you and be there for you, but make sure you have experience and a professional by your side. Have an unfair advantage!

This morning, I was invited to inspect a property in Raby, by Renee Soster Properties from Camden Property Agents. It was a perfect property for First Home Buyers.

I have said many times, buying property, especially for First Home Buyers is all about what you are willing to compromise. A suburb like Raby is predominantly owner occupiers, the age range reflects embedded families and the property we inspected today offered a lot for a First Home Buyer.
It is planned to go to auction, unless purchased prior. It is a property that you can move into straight away and slowly chip away and make improvements on. It is the perfect property for you to either put your personality into, imbed memories into the wall and grow with your family as your forever home, or just as easy, get your foot in the door, make some improvements, wait out for some capital gain and use it as a stepping stone for your next property.

Nicole from Fox & Co Finance was also at the open, offering support for those needing mortgage options for their finances.

Attention First Home Buyers!
Sometimes an issue with a property, a repair or reno needed can be your golden ticket to negotiate a lower price.
Banking the land and working on the property when you first start might just set you up for your next property and help you gain that price increase that you need.
Don't be afraid to embrace an issue if it helps you move forward down the track.
Remember, first homes are a compromise and should be your first step as you go up the property ladder!

There is lots of discussion around the Federal Treasurer and his comments regarding the slowing of the economy and the influence high interest rates has on that.
Will those comments influence the RBA?
The RBA is set up to be independent to the Government of the day.
However politics is always present. Is it a valid call? Is it an attempt to get ahead of the next election banter that will be due before we know it? Or is it a bit of both?.
Time will tell.
