Hosted by Business Sydney, it was inspiring to see strong support for local businesses, manufacturers and growers โ and to be reminded just how important backing Australian-made truly is ๐ฆ๐บ
Australian Made Week (18โ24 May 2026) celebrates everything we create locally and shines a light on the people behind it. This yearโs campaign reinforces a powerful message:
Supporting local isnโt just important to shoppers โ itโs critical to Aussie businesses too.
Some standout insights shared:
100% of Australian businesses surveyed recognise the Australian Made logo
85% are confident products displaying the logo are genuinely made or grown in Australia
84% of businesses actively choose Australian-made goods wherever possible
93% of Australians trust products carrying the logo
89% are more likely to buy when they know itโs Australian made
Even more compelling โ spending just $20 per week on Australian-made products could inject $11 billion into the economy and create around 20,000 jobs.
