This is what turned up at our table at The Anchor Spencer, right on the Hawkesbury River. 🦀⚓
Chilli mud crab, smothered in a homemade chilli sauce, with soft rolls to mop it all up. We stopped in not knowing what to expect and the food was amazing.
It’s run by a lovely couple, Trent and Bianca. Trent spent 26 years as a police officer before opening a restaurant in Spencer, and they’ve built something special.
I’m told they’re putting it on the market and moving on to their next chapter. So if you’ve ever dreamed of owning an incredible business on the Hawkesbury River, this could be the one.
Well worth the drive (or the boat ride). Get up there.

The Shirl and the Khare bear in the DDGG

Ma has done 17 sessions in the last 6 weeks. Dumbbells up from 2kg → 3kg → 4kg.
Khare has done 101 sessions this year!!

Shirl trains with us 3 mornings a week, 6:10am start. That’s dedication.

3 years ago I started the DDGG at 97kg and I made a decision to change.

What followed has been one of the best chapters of my life — not just physically, but the people it’s brought together.

DDGG started as an idea. Now it’s 6 mornings a week, a group of blokes and their partners(occasionally) who show up, put in the work, and have an absolute blast doing it.

No membership fees. No BS. Just turn up at 6:10am.
