We recently had the pleasure of hosting Brad Hickey from Brash Higgins, all the way from McLaren Vale, across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane trade.

Brad’s one of the true originals of the Vale — a former New York sommelier who came out for a single vintage in 2007 and never left. Everything comes off their certified organic Omensetter Vineyard, farmed by his partner Nicole Thorpe, with Brad working across amphora, carbonic ferments and whatever idea he’s chasing that vintage.

Huge thanks to every venue that hosted us, and to Brad for the week.

Next week we’re releasing Ripple 2026 — whole-bunch Nero d’Avola drowned in fresh-pressed juice and left to ferment inside its own skins. Bright, a little wild, built for a chill.

We had the pleasure of hosting Stef Yim from Sciara, all the way from Mount Etna, across both Melbourne and Sydney trade.

Stef founded Azienda Agricola Sciara in 2015 — a former LA sommelier turned w**emaker, farming nine contrade across Etna’s northern and southern slopes on 100% volcanic soil, including Contrada Cielo at 1,520 metres, Europe’s highest vineyard. Certified organic since 2023, minimal intervention throughout: no fining, no filtration, low SO2.

A masterclass at Le Pont W**e Store Melbourne in South Melbourne, another at Bentley Restaurant + Bar , and a Mount Etna trade tasting at The International Sydney with over 100 in attendance. Always valuable to taste w**es of this precision alongside the person who farms every contrada by hand — hearing first-hand the thinking behind altitude, terroir and restraint.

We just wrapped a week on the road in Melbourne, with Ben Mullen from Mulline and our director Neil Thomson presenting the new release of Clos Saouma.

Last month we had the pleasure of hosting Dave Fletcher, all the way from Barbaresco, across both Melbourne and Sydney trade.

Marion is a small, family-run estate in the unspoilt Marcellise valley outside Verona. Led by Stefano Campedelli and Nicoletta, now joined by their sons, the focus has always been simple: estate fruit only, native varieties, no new oak, and a deep respect for what makes Valpolicella unique. W**es made with patience, restraint, and absolute belief in place.

Our sincerest thanks to over 300 clients from Melbourne who showed up to support our company and its producers, such a lovely turnout. To all our w**emakers, principals and staff I am so very grateful for your passion and commitment both on the day and all the work put in to make this event come to life.

Melbourne turned it on in terms of the weather allowing you all to enjoy the terrace overlooking the Yarra and somewhere to relax between tastings. Thank you to the team for all your support, what a day.
