What a way to start May.

We had Nic Peterkin from .a.s.vino in Sydney for a week on the road, presenting the new releases to the trade.

Margaret River Icons Chardonnay Masterclass in front of the Sydney trade at ,the sub-regions, the vintages, the thinking behind each wine.

Two wineries. One visit.

We just wrapped a week on the road in Melbourne, with Ben Mullen from Mulline and our director Neil Thomson presenting the new release of Clos Saouma.

Geelong and Châteauneuf-du-Pape, side by side, in front of the Melbourne trade.

A focused selection at every stop, with proper time to sit with each wine and the thinking behind it. Two very different corners of the wine world in the same conversation.

Huge thanks to every venue that hosted us, and to Ben for the week on the road.

Last month we had the pleasure of hosting Dave Fletcher, all the way from Barbaresco, across both Melbourne and Sydney trade.

Always valuable to taste the wines alongside the person behind them, and to hear first-hand the thinking, detail and intent that goes into each release. A proper reminder of why these wines continue to resonate so strongly.

The 2023s land in May, and they’re looking superb.

We’re thrilled to share the new Marion releases: Amarone, Valpolicella Superiore, and the always-charming Borgo Valpolicella. Wines of depth, ease, and real drinkability — each one a pleasure to open.

Marion is a small, family-run estate in the unspoilt Marcellise valley outside Verona. Led by Stefano Campedelli and Nicoletta, now joined by their sons, the focus has always been simple: estate fruit only, native varieties, no new oak, and a deep respect for what makes Valpolicella unique. Wines made with patience, restraint, and absolute belief in place.

Our sincerest thanks to over 300 clients from Melbourne who showed up to support our company and its producers, such a lovely turnout. To all our winemakers, principals and staff I am so very grateful for your passion and commitment both on the day and all the work put in to make this event come to life.

Melbourne turned it on in terms of the weather allowing you all to enjoy the terrace overlooking the Yarra and somewhere to relax between tastings. Thank you to the team for all your support, what a day.
