Eastern Suburbs Buyers Are Moving West 👀

Over the last two weeks, I’ve noticed something interesting. We collect postcodes from everyone who attends our open homes, and there’s been a clear increase in buyers from the Eastern Suburbs coming through properties in Annandale and the Inner West.

While it’s still early days, it’s worth paying attention to. A few possible reasons this could be happening:

Buyers are looking for better value as the Eastern Suburbs continue to push higher in price.

Families wanting more space and a village lifestyle without sacrificing proximity to the city.

Hybrid work making location flexibility more important than it was a few years ago.

It’s too soon to call it a major trend, but it’s definitely something I’m keeping a close eye on.
