Relocating to Australia in September 2007 with our four children, our family settled in beautiful Avalon in the Northern Beaches. I took a few years off work before I decided to return and I knew I wanted a career which I would enjoy so much, that it never felt like work. Real estate on the other hand, would be ideal and so, in late 2009
I obtained my Certificate of Registration and became a real estate agent. During our long and extensive search for a Sydney home, I was quite shocked by the poor level of service we received throughout the industry and I realised, how the real estate business was (and at times, still is), abysmal. I knew that my previous experience working in private banking, marketing and running my own interior design business, would stand me in good stead. I knew I had the skills and determination required to be a success but what I really wanted was to set an unprecedented level of service which other agents would aspire to. I wanted my clients to have an enjoyable experience when buying or selling and I felt it my duty to make this event as stress-free as humanly possible. I felt the industry’s overall standards needed to be raised and I was the girl to start the ball rolling.
